When Rashida, a 42-year-old mother of five, was diagnosed with a critical heart condition, her family had no way to afford the surgery. BFF's Critical Illness Fund stepped in, covering her surgery and rehabilitation costs. Today, Rashida is healthy and back with her family. Stories like hers remind us that every donation to this fund is a lifeline. This year, we funded treatment for 87 critically ill patients who had nowhere else to turn.
